Born in 1930, Kipniss is considered as famous a printmaker as a painter. His works in both media are in one hundred museum collections. Many books and catalogues have been published over the years about his thought provoking themes of imaginary landscapes and intimate interiors. There is much hidden color in his monochromatic work.
In recent gallery history we were the first gallery to launch his new watercolors and also have had one prior major exhibition. We are looking forward to another exhibition by 2007.
